As a parent and teacher, I ultimately want two things for my children: to be happy and to be successful. In a world of comproimse, we'll often gladly take one or the other. Sometimes simply seeing your children laugh is enough. Other times, seeing your kids concentrating and succeeding at a difficult task is its own reward. But if there is both joy and learning, something special is taking place.Having been overseas for over a year, I entrusted Growing Time with the education of my son. Upon my return, I witnessed a formerly reserved child who used to hide from strangers happily laughing and easily interacting with both his peers and with adults. In addition, he was reading, adding and subtracting, and bursting with knowledge of the natural and man made world, all before his fifth birthday.I would have been wholeheartedly content if my son simply greeted me with an easy smile. I would have been greatly impressed sharing in his newfound knowledge. But surprisngly, I witnesseed so much more. I saw a child that was both happy and successful. I knew then, as I always suspected, that Growing Time Montessori was indeed a special place.Ryan Saiyasombat
I began my search very early for a daycare/preschool for my daughter Rae just before her 2nd birthday. My plan was to enroll her when she was 3. I used every resource available to me for my research. I asked other parents/teachers, read reviews online, and most importantly I visited every daycare within a reasonable driving distance. My most important concerns were- Excellent teachers and staff, a safe and healthy environment, a challenging and creative academic curriculum. It was not easy to find a place that we felt was a right fit for our family and fullfilled all my requirements. After visiting GTM a few times, I felt comfortable to have my daughter enroll earlier than our plan. She has been there since she was 2 1/2 years old and will soon graduate completeing kindergarten. With each passing semester I am truly impressed as to how much Rae has learned. But while academics is very important I think the teachers and students have also contributed to shaping Rae into a well rounded, caring child; giving her the skills and confidence to continue on with her education. I plan to also have my 2nd child attend the same school, and that is probably the strongest recommendation any parent can give.

It has been almost 10 years since I had to be concerned with the beginning of my child's education, yet I found myself in just that situation. My daughter was ready to start school, but where to place her to give her the best start to her academic career. That was when my wife and I decided to go back to an area and to a school that we were comfortable with and that our two son's had attended many years earlier. Upon arrival at the Growing Time Montesorri School, we had discovered that the school had changed. When we stepped inside, we were warmly greeted by each teacher we encountered and we immediately felt right at home. We observed some of the classes and were delighted to see how the teachers interacted with each of their students. Our daughter immediately began to integrate herself into the group of children that were in her age group. By the end of our time, my wife and I had agreed that this was the place that we wanted our daughter to attend. In fact, she did not want to leave. We made a very good choice in choosing Growing Time and would recommend it to any parent that wants to give their child a step up.
